Building stronger communities from the inside out — through infrastructure, livelihoods, health, and hope.
The Impala Foundation's Community Development Programme focuses on strengthening the social, economic, and physical infrastructure of the communities we serve.
Through vocational skills training, we equip adults with practical, market-relevant skills — from fashion, welding and tailoring to digital literacy and entrepreneurship — enabling them to earn a sustainable income and contribute to local economies.
Our livelihood support initiatives help small traders and community cooperatives access micro-financing guidance and business development support. We also undertake community infrastructure projects, including clean water access and sanitation improvements.
Central to our approach is community ownership: we work alongside residents rather than simply for them.

For many in underserved communities, essential healthcare remains out of reach. We bridge that gap.
The Impala Foundation's Healthcare Programme bridges critical gaps by bringing essential medical services, health education, and wellness support directly to communities that need them most.
We organise regular health outreach camps where community members can access free medical consultations, screenings, and referrals. Our health awareness campaigns tackle issues including maternal and child health, nutrition, malaria prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, and mental health.
